It is only natural that the Greater Kansas City Black Nurses Association serve as a catalyst for engaging the health concerns of those in our community, especially people of color. Our public leadership and support of community health has a history that extends years back. We continue to build on this rich tradition by investing countless hours serving our community.

It is my hope that more Kansas City area nurses become actively involved with the Greater Kansas City Black Nurses Association and other professional organizations. I extend to you my personal invitation to join the Greater Kansas City Black Nurses Association. As nurses, there is an expected level of accountability. We must make a positive impact on the community in which we live.
